They all use pretty much the same story, which involves sending an overdraft check, a lot of times by the third person(agent, relative, employer, etc.), usually by the second email their intentions become clear(but sometimes even 1 is enough). The emails usually say something like

"payment will be done by US certified check.please let me have the following information so that the check can be sent to you.
Name which you want to appear on the check:
Address (not P.O Box):
City:
State:
Zipcode:
Tel:
Total Amount"

Just think logically, why would someone send you an overdraft check when you tell them how much money exactly they need to pay?!

Another attempt of scamming was coming from someone using the name of Elizabeth Brat, by the way I've found some really funny stuff on this, it's the "victim" trying "to scam the scammer", great sense of humor:) http://www.softballfans.com/forums/showthread.php?t=701199Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6444545940829032089.post-71251184878163758882009-04-03T07:22:00.000-07:002009-04-03T07:22:00.000-07:00He is still active, received inquiry from CL posti...He is still active, received inquiry from CL posting on April 2, 2009Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
